Saoirse Ronan, Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton each made a stylish appearance at Deadline Contenders Film: Los Angeles this weekend.
Ronan, 30, stood out in a sleeveless red dress while Moore, 63, was fashionable in a pair of trendy barrel jeans and a dark V-neck sweater.
For her part, 64-year-old Swinton looked sharp in a beige pantsuit with a double-breasted blazer that boasted pronounced gold buttons.
At one point the trio posed alongside Pedro Almodovar, who directed Julianne and Tilda’s upcoming drama The Room Next Door.
And while at the annual daylong event, Saoirse talked up her latest film The Outrun, which was released in October, and Apple TV’s Blitz.
The Little Women star pulled her dirty blonde licks back into a sleek updo with a center part for Saturday’s affair.
She looked typically beautiful with her thick eyebrows carefully shaped, providing a frame for her big blue eyes.
Her appearance comes after days ago she revealed in her Elle cover story that she is embracing playing flawed characters.
Speaking about her role as an alcoholic in The Outrun, she opened up: ‘I haven’t played anyone like that since Briony Tallis [her character in Atonement]. And I was so ready for it.’
‘I felt confident enough in my ability, but also confident enough in who I was. I didn’t feel like I was being held down by a need to only play likable people.’
In The Room Next Door, Tilda plays a character named Martha alongside Julianne’s Ingrid.
The film, out December 20, also stars John Turturro, Alessandro Nivola, Esther McGregor, Alex Høgh Andersen, and Alvise Rigo.
Moore and Swinton portray two friends who reconnect after their careers took them in different directions.
Per Deadline, Contenders Film: Los Angeles is ‘an annual daylong awards-season kickoff event’ that hosts ‘stars and talent of films competing for the top honors during the upcoming awards season.’
This year’s affair featured over 20 movies with actors and directors gathering for panels at the Director’s Guild of America.
Among the panelists was Kevin Costner, 69, who discussed his film Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1.
Costner looked great in slim-fitting gray trousers, which he teamed with matching suede boots.
The Bodyguard star added a cream-colored sweater and he looked handsome with a grizzled beard and thick, black-rimmed eyeglasses.
English music artist Robbie Williams, 50, turned heads in a white pinstripe suit and coordinating loafers.
He wore a long chain with a cross pendant and shielded his eyes in an oversized pair of black sunglasses.
Actress Mikey Madison, 25, was present for Saturday’s event as well.
The Anora star commanded attention in an eggplant-colored sweater and coordinating pencil skirt.
Her mock neck top featured slanted horizontal cut-outs at either shoulder and the sleeves were slightly rolled up.
The monochromatic outfit was rounded out with a pair of pointy-toe purple heels.
Canadian singer and actress Maisy Stella, 20, also joined the star-studded guest list.
She arrived in a patterned, dark gray suit that consisted of an oversize blazer and pleated skirt.
Stella added knee-high socks and black Doc Marten lace-up shoes.
Pamela Anderson looked angelic in a long white shirt and pleated skirt.
The 57-year-old former Baywatch star punctuated the outfit with nude, pointy-toe heels.
The mother-of-two, who stars in Gia Coppola’s upcoming drama The Last Showgirl, stuck to her makeup-free practice as she bared her freckled face.
Her signature blonde hair was parted down the middle as it fell freely down her back.
Also at the TV and film event was Gia, 37, who arrived in a sleek, brown suede shirt jacket and long skirt.
In The Last Showgirl, Anderson portrays a veteran showgirl who must sort her future when her show abruptly wraps after a 30 years.
Lupita Nyong’o, 41, dazzled in a salmon pink dress with white accents and an asymmetric fringe hemline.
