BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Twenty thousand opportunities to find the perfect book, record, puzzle or DVD.
That’s what Bethlehem Area Public Library says its final book sale of the year will offer from 12-8 p.m. Dec. 4 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. De. 7 in he main library branch, 11 W. Church St.
The sale, dubbed “a fantastic opportunity to pick up affordable and unique gifts for the holiday season!” by the library in a release Tuesday, will feature a vast selection of more than 20,000 items, including books, DVDs, vinyl records and other fun surprises.
“Whether you’re searching for children’s books, cookbooks, classics, or holiday-themed stories, this sale has it all — at unbeatable prices!” the release said.
For everyone’s convenience, per the library, book scanners and other electronic pricing devices are not permitted on DEC. 4 but may be used Dec. 7.
An anticipated event
BAPL holds its beloved book sales every January, March, May, July, September and December.
Avid fans relish the events, which feature a variety of books that include young adult novels, picture books, non-fiction, audiobooks, records, video games and CDs and DVDs.
Items accepted for use in the sale, listed above, must be in good condition.

The main library accepts donations of gently used books and media during regular hours: 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays. It’s closed Sundays.
Items accepted for use in the sale must be in good condition.
Not accepted in any condition are VHS tapes, audiobooks on cassette, Reader’s Digest books, magazines, encyclopedia sets or textbooks older than five years, according to its website.
