The Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia will join the “ASEAN TOURISM FORUM 2025” under the theme “UNITY IN MOTION-Shaping ASEAN’s Tourism Tomorrow” in Johor, Malaysia from Jan. 19 to 25, 2025.
According to its announcement released this evening, on the occasion, the Ministry of Tourism will participate in ASEAN Travel Exchange (TRAVEX) which will be attended by tour operators, media, sellers, and buyers with around 200 booths that show tourism products from the tour operators, tourism agencies, travel and accommodation services and stakeholders from ASEAN member countries, said the ministry.
This event plays an important role in boosting tourism growth in the region, promoting tourism business opportunities, and showcasing Cambodia’s rich tourism potential to international markets, particularly ASEAN markets.
The event will also serve as a platform to establish new business relationships, promote good cooperation in the tourism sector, and strengthen tourism partnerships among ASEAN member states through the network of travel agencies and the cooperation of ASEAN tourism.
The Ministry of Tourism thus called upon tour operators, private sectors, media, national and international tourists, the general public and relevant institutions to promote and participate in TRAVEX to entice more regional and international tourists to visit “Cambodia – Kingdom of Wonder, Feel the Warmth, Safe, Clean and Green”.
