UPDATE:
SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN – Travel is not recommended on a number of highways in southeast Saskatchewan Tuesday night due to the winter storm blasting the region.
The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure’s Highway Hotline is urging motorists to stay off of Highway 1 from Mortlach to Whitewood. Among the other highways with travel not recommended advisories are Highway 6 from Regina to the Canada-U.S. border, and Highway 39 from Moose Jaw to Yellow Grass.
Highway conditions from throughout the province can be found on the Highway Hotline‘s map.
The other highways in the southeast are listed as covered or partially covered. Many of them have reduced visibility.
A snowfall warning remains in effect for the southeast.

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN – For the second time in less than a week, winter weather conditions are creating problems on highways in southeast Saskatchewan.
According to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure’s Highway Hotline, highways in the Estevan area are partially covered and visibility is reduced.
Most routes in the Weyburn region are listed as covered, with such issues as slush, ice, swirling snow and drifting snow. Visibility is also reduced.
