ORLANDO — In this video from the AIMed24 Annual Meeting, Marissa Fayer discusses the use of novel AI imaging technology to assist radiologists in detecting breast cancer and cutting costs.
“We have shown a 12% reduction in recall rates in breast imaging and mammography, and that translates to patients saving money, to radiology clinics saving money and the health care system in itself saving money,” Fayer, CEO of DeepLook Medical, told Healio.
She added, “Right now, there are 20,000 women walking around the United States with breast cancer not knowing it, simply because their imaging could not see it. At DeepLook, we are just visualizing and showing the radiologists what is there.”
