KA OTT Release Date: Kiran Abbavaram’s recently released Telugu movie successfully ran at the box office and is finally ready for its OTT premiere. Released in theatres on October 31, this fantasy thriller is directed by debutants Sujith and Sandeep. KA will be streaming on ETV Win from November 28 onwards.
For the unversed, KA had its Malayalam version released earlier this week. Dulquer Salmaan’s company Wayfarer Films distributed the film in Kerala.
KA’s cast and crew
Other than Kiran, this supernatural saga also stars Nayan Sarika, Tanvi Ram, Achyuth Kumar, and Redin Kingsley in key roles. With a runtime of 130 minutes, KA has been cinematographed by Viswas Daniel and Sateesh Reddy Masam with music handled by Sam C S. Produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of Srichakraas Entertainments, KA earned over Rs 37.51 crore worldwide.
KA’s plot summary
The film revolves around Vasudev (Kiran Abbavaram) who is an orphan taking up the role of a postman in village Krishnagiri. He has an unusual habit of reading other people’s letters and that’s what eventually helps him unveil the troubling secrets about missing girls haunting his villagers’ life who he considers their family. A series of flashbacks spanning multiple decades will keep you thrilled.
KA’s review
A part of The New Indian Express review read, “KA feels like a rough draft that needed more refinement to reach its full potential. The film’s philosophical ambition is evident, but its execution feels underdeveloped as if the reveal overshadowed the narrative. You can watch the thriller only for the climax but that’s like saying—sit on the top of a beautiful mountain without really climbing.”
