Bestselling novelist Barbara Taylor Bradford, who wrote A Woman Of Substance, has died at the age of 91.The author died peacefully at her home on Sunday following a short illness, “and was surrounded by loved ones to the very end”, a spokeswoman said.
A Woman Of Substance (her debut novel) is one of the bestselling novels of all time, having sold more than 30 million copies since its publication in 1979. She wrote 40 novels, all of which became bestsellers. Her last book, The Wonder Of It All, was published in November last year.
