MT. CARMEL, Ill. (WFIE) – Mt. Carmel Mayor Joe Judge has announced they will be giving away over $35,000 worth of Disney books this weekend.
According to officials, this is the fifth year they have held a family book giveaway just in time for Christmas.
They say the books are all brand new and are free of charge.
Mayor Judge says this event is open to everyone in the Tri-State area.
The Free Disney Book Giveaway as it has been titled will take place 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30 at Wabash County Senior Center located 115 East 3rd Street.
Event authorities are asking those who would like to participate to bring their own bag.
