More than 50 businesses will have deals on Small Business Saturday

Each year, dozens of businesses throughout the Green Bay area capitalize on Small Business Saturday to boost their sales and connect with local customers.

For shoppers, it’s an opportunity to support local businesses while discovering unique, one-of-a-kind gifts for family and friends.

Downtown Green Bay and Olde Main Street business districts, On Broadway and Military Avenue, joined forces to support local businesses on Nov. 30. The directors issued a news release with details of the event and special offers from businesses participating in Small Business Saturday.

“There’s no better way to kick off the holiday season than by shopping small and celebrating big in the heart of Green Bay, ” Jeff Mirkes said in the release.

This year shoppers will be able to scan a QR code to enter a raffle to win one of three $250 gift baskets filled with goodies from shops across all four districts. However, there won’t be any trolleys available to drive customers around.

Similarly, Definitely De Pere, the business district for downtown De Pere is supporting local businesses.

During Small Business Saturday around the De Pere area, shoppers will get a passport at any Shop Small Dine Small location. Each time shoppers make a purchase at a participating business, they will receive a secret passcode to fill in their passports and have a chance to win prizes.

Here is a list of businesses featured in these events, organized by district.

Downtown Green Bay

• Camera Corner, N. Monroe Road, has discounts for laptops, cameras, iPads and more until Dec. 27.
• Al’s Hamburger,131 S. Washington St., will have a 15% off your entire order.
• LoCo WisCo, 112 N. Washington St., has a 10% off discount for everything in the store.
• Furs & Clothing of Distinction, 207 N. Washington St., will give a gift with any purchase, cashmere scarves for $20 (regular price is $75) with a limit of 6, a buy one and get one 50% for winter hats with or without fur, fingerless fur trim gloves for $20 (regular price is $55) with a limit of 4, green and gold fur ball scarf for $39.99 (normal price is $100) with a limit of 4, all green and gold fur accessories will be 10% off. There will also be a drawing for a free set of two cashmere scarves (must come in-store to register).
• Haberdasher Co., 335 N. Washington St., will offer a free pair of socks with a purchase over $50.
• Broken Spoke Bike Studio,115 Pine St., Suite 101, will have 50% off on brands like 45NRTH, Specialized, Giro & Oakley.
• Kintsugi 920 Esthetics, 425 S. Adams St., Suite 203, will have a custom essential oil blending bar for $20 a blend, complimentary Vitamin C wellness shots with a purchase, Friendsgiving goody bags for those who book a service on the spot for the future, pop-up lash lifts and brow laminations for $75 each and with the purchase of a $100 gift card get $15 off your next service.
• The Daily Buzz,124 E. Walnut St, will have $10 off for the purchase of a gift card of $25 or more. They will also offer new bakery samples.
• Cathedral Books & Gifts, 131 S. Madison St., will offer 15% off all products for in-store purchases (with some exclusions).
• Rummele’s Jewlers, 234 S. Adams Street, will have a coupon strip that includes a $100 gift card, a raffle for a $500 gift card and discounts for purchases on gold creations.
• Lion’s Mouth Bookstore, 211 N. Washington St., will offer a coffee mug with a purchase of $50 or more.
• Hagemeister Park, 325 N. Washington St., is offering a voucher for half off a riverside igloo experience this holiday season after spending $50.

Olde Main Street

• The Attic, 730 Bodart St., will have 15% off all holiday gift boxes, 20% off all attic merchandise and 10% off any coffee or tea brewing.
• The Plant People Design Center, 931 Main St., will have a “gift card special” and with a purchase of a $25 gift card a shopper receives a complimentary $5, with a purchase of a $50 gift card receive a complimentary $10, with a purchase of a $75 and receive a $15, purchase a $100, and receive a $20 gift card and so on.
• The Art Garage, 1400 Cedar St., is giving a gift with every artwork purchased during The Gift Show exhibition which starts on Nov. 28.
• Clay Studio 1242, 1242 Main St., is offering a $5 off coupon for a pottery class for every $50 spent (the coupon can’t be used for Clay Studio 1242 Facebook events).
• Sunrise on Main Boutique, 1244 Main St., will take $5 off your purchase of $30 or more, 50% off coats, dresses, skirts, shoes and vintage clothing and offer a free gift with purchase of $20 or more while supplies last.
• Artrageous Ink, 1035 Main St. Suite 1, is offering a $20 gift certificate for every $100 gift certificate purchased.

On Broadway

• Neville Public Museum Gift Shop, 210 Museum Place, the Gift shop is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and stocked with toys, books, games, STEM kits, and unique pieces from local artisans. The Children Only Shop is open from noon to 3 p.m. for children ages four to 12 to shop in secret for parents, siblings, and friends. Gifts are $4, including a personalized gift tag, festive wrapping, and tax. Entrance to the Children Only Shop is included in museum admission.
• A Bag Lady, 127 N. Broadway, will have 20% off everything in the store, including jewelry.
• Lark & Lace, 237 N. Broadway, shoppers build a gift box and get 10% off for one product, 20% off for two products and 30% off for three or more products.
• Lucky 7 Dog Rescue, 239 N. Broadway, is offering doggie therapy and hot chocolate.
• Aurora’s Apothecary LLC, 133 N. Broadway Suite A, will have 20% off of your entire purchase.
• Cockloft Vintage, 163 N. Broadway, receive a free vintage mug or vintage soup mug after spending $75; has other discounts in $10 clothing racks; vintage winter coats and jackets on sale for $30.00 and under.
• Zulou, 128 N. Broadway, go in store and draw your discount for any purchase.
• Edit Home & Design, 201 N. Broadway, will offer 20% off (excludes local artist’s works.)
• Board & Brush Creative Studio, 235 N. Broadway, purchase two $73 gift certificates for $110.
• Manana Vintage, 143 N. Broadway, Suite C, will have 15% off all day and a $5 pile.
• Petal Pusher, 119 N. Broadway, will have buy-one-get-one 50% off ornaments which must be of equal or lesser value.
• Tranquility Spa, 300 S. Broadway, will have 15% off any facial or tiny tattoo done by artist Dawn; 20% off any waxing with Marni, and 20% off any manicure with Marianela.

Military Avenue

• Jim’s Music, 1219 Military Ave., will have $125 Gift cards for a $100 spent, limited to one per customer and a free month of lessons, plus 10% off on all accessories.
• Rock ‘n Roll Land, 838 Military Ave., 50% off all used records.
• Book Stop, 603 Military Ave, is offering a free book with a $50 purchase.
