I do remember meeting a charming RHNY in a restaurant, but I’d like to stress it was about 15 years ago. I don’t recall shots or kissing but her memory might be better than mine.”
Luann de Lesseps reportedly once made out with Hugh Grant.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum, 59, shared the details while speaking with TooFab about her Marry F Kill! tour on Friday, November 22. “A girlfriend of mine called me and was like ‘Hugh Grant is at Pierre’s,'” de Lesseps said, adding, “I’ll be right over!”
The Countess detailed calling the restaurant in The Hamptons and requesting, “Get the table right next to Hugh Grant,” before heading over with her family, who was in town visiting her. She said the 64-year-old Heretic star knew who she was because they were both friends with Andy Cohen.

“I said, ‘Sit me right behind him.’ I pushed out my chair real fast and I bumped into him — flirting 101 — I bumped into him and said, ‘Oh I’m so sorry,'” she recalled. After bumping into him, the Bravo star offered to buy him a drink to make up for it.
“I go, ‘I’m so sorry. Can I buy you a shot? I feel terrible.’ He goes, ‘OK, but I’ll come have a shot with you if you do one with me,'” she alleged. That’s when de Lesseps claims things took a romantic turn.
“Before you know it, we are taking shots and making out … heavily at the table! My brother was like, ‘I can’t believe you’re making out with Hugh Grant’, and I was like, ‘Neither can I,'” she said.
In the same interview, she also dished about trying to link up with Gerard Butler, whom she once met in an elevator. “Tried my best, but he had a girlfriend who was there,” she explained, quipping, “You can only try!”
The cabaret performer had teased the steamy encounter with Grant earlier in November when she appeared on pal Cohen’s show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. She and fellow guest Stacey Rusch were playing “never have I ever” as part of Cohen’s game “Let Your Freak Flags Fly,” when the host said, “Never have I ever hooked up with someone famous.”
The Countess emphatically waved her flag, before asking Cohen, “Remember Hugh Grant?” He dismissed the story, saying, “Well, nothing happened,” to which de Lesseps responded, “Well, making out! That doesn’t count?”
The U.S. leg of de Lesseps Marry F Kill! tour continues on November 30 in Peekskill, New York, with a selection of dates scheduled across the country through June 2025. She takes her tour to the UK and Ireland in February 2025.
