Platinum RV Center is now back under the ownership of Kevin Robinson, the business’s original founder. Located at 3600 Hwy. 281 “on the hill,” the RV center has become a staple in the community, offering sales, service, and parts for recreational vehicles.
Platinum RV Center offers a wide range of services, including RV sales, repairs, and parts. The company is fully stocked with parts and has three highly qualified, factory-trained technicians who provide repair services both in the shop and through service calls. For customers looking to sell their RV, the business also offers consignment services.
Platinum RV was originally established in Beeville in 2004, before relocating to George West in 2009 and moving to its current location in 2020. About a year ago, Robinson sold the company for health reasons, but the transition to the new owner didn’t work out. He repurchased the business last month to restore the high level of service and commitment he had originally established.
Robinson believes strongly in the “Platinum Rule” of service—treating people the way they want to be treated—and the company has a commitment to excellence. “We have good, wholesome, Christian values, which is the cornerstone of our operations,” Robinson said. “We do business the commonsense way.” He adds that customers appreciate being able to stop by for a cup of coffee and free advice. “They might take the advice and fix a problem themselves, but they become a customer for life.”
Robinson is supported by a dedicated team, including long-time office manager Shae Fudge, whom he describes as his “right-hand woman.” Another long-time employee, Greg Pimental prepares RVs for customers and provides general services.
As RV-ing remains a popular year-round activity in South Texas, Platinum RV Center continues to be dedicated to delivering the top-notch services and products that its customers expect.
