An environmental compliance business that has moved its headquarters to Manchester city centre is hoping to grow its workforce further after another year of growth.
Ecoveritas, which recently moved into its new HQ in the CORE building on Brown Street, has recorded 40% growth for the second year in a row. It has grown from a small team at its first Oxford office to having almost 50 employees, with plans for more expansion over the coming months.
Its move to Manchester last month coincided with packaging specialist Ecoveritas marking a milestone of signing 150 clients in more than 15 different sectors, with clients including eBay, Selfridges and Suzuki.
Since opening in 1999 Ecoveritas has worked with companies such as AstraZeneca, Toni & Guy, New Look.
The company helps firms to meet their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) to collect and report data on the products they use.
Chief executive Irvin Newbitt said: “We have a vision of becoming the leading data specialist in helping companies minimise the cost and difficulty in reporting their packaging obligations.
“For this goal to be achieved we knew we needed to expand our data services and improve customer value through developing and investing heavily in technology solutions.”
“Less than three years later, I’m proud to say that our vision is coming to fruition with technology being the cornerstone of this innovative company.”
He added: “We manage global EPR data reporting in more than 30 countries, so we are well equipped to handle reporting across diverse regulatory environments.
“While we’ve seen tremendous growth in the last few years, Ecoveritas has a three-and-a-half-decade legacy supporting its work and results.
“The firm’s proven success lies in its ability to navigate complex regulations while driving sustainable improvements for businesses worldwide. We’re looking forward to many more years of success.”
