- Call for expressions of interest for former Jurien Bay holiday camp site
- Rare opportunity to acquire prime tourism land
A prime parcel of land in the heart of the Jurien Bay township is now available with the State Government calling for expressions of interest for the sale of the property located at 15 Bashford Street in Jurien Bay.
The 1.86-hectare tourism-zoned site, located just metres from key infrastructure including the Jurien Bay Jetty, the shopping centre and Turquoise Coast Visitor Centre, represents a significant development opportunity.
Previously the site of the Apex Holiday and Youth Camp, the land is now mostly cleared and ready for development with all necessary services available for connection.
Expressions of interest close at 4pm on Wednesday, 11 December and further information is available from RWC WA or Crown land divestment .
As stated by Lands Minister John Carey:
“Jurien Bay is a growing area for sea changes and for tourism in Western Australia.
“The release of this land is a unique development opportunity that could contribute significantly to the future growth of the community.”
As stated by Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti:
“Jurien Bay continues to be a very popular destination for tourists and locals, with incredible local beaches and of course its proximity to the iconic Pinnacles Desert.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to support the community and create jobs, while also building on the great reputation the area has as a tourism town.”
