Beyond the Book: A Book to Film Club will meet on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Eccles-Lesher Memorial Library.
Every other month, we will meet for a Saturday movie matinee followed by a discussion of the book and the film. Snacks will be provided.
December’s selection is Louisa May Alcott’s cozy winter classic, “Little Women.”
”Little Women” is a coming-of-age story about the lives of four sisters during and after the American Civil War. Originally published in 1868, “Little Women” has had many film and TV adaptations. We’ll be showing the 1994 movie starring Susan Sarandon, Winona Ryder, Clair Danes, Kirsten Dunst and Christian Bale.
This program is free and open to the public.
