You may be ready to run wild on Black Friday, but don’t the Fairview Small Business Saturday Crawl. This Saturday, Nov. 30, Fairview small businesses will be open and offering holiday specials, giveaways and a fun shopping experience with the chance to win cash prizes.
Small Business Saturday helps grow and maintain a strong local economy which keeps money circulating in Fairview and brings more prosperity and benefits to the community.
Shopping locally keeps small businesses open, which provides more job opportunities and increases tax revenue. It also supports small business owners who often sponsor local schools and sports teams all year long.
Saturday’s crawl also includes a contest where shoppers who get their Small Business Saturday Crawl card punched while shopping at four of the nine specified businesses will have their name entered for a drawing to receive either a $75 cash prize or $100 cash prize.
You can stop by any of the nine specified small businesses for your own map and punch card. Those nine businesses are Fairview Nutrition, Fairview Liquors, Fine Wine & Gifts, Fairview Antique Finds, Jingo Java Coffee, Thompson’s Kitchen, Uncle Lenny’s Country Café, Bénie Home Furnishings, Accessories & Gifts, Buried Treasures and Farm Freh Vintage Finds & Creamery.
In addition to their regular goods and services, some of Fairview’s small businesses, like Fairview Nutrition and Jingo Java, will also host a variety of small vendor booths at their business locations selling unique holiday gifts such as handmade items and baked goods.
Shira Sturm, owner of Fairview Nutrition, posted, “We are so excited… We will have vendors, giveaways, gift card sales, and more!” This weekend will be a great time to explore all the small businesses who chose to invest in the Fairview community.
