A wide range of festive events will be taking place at the Guildhall in the run up to Christmas this year. The historic building, which has been Leicester’s town hall and its jail in the past, kicks off the events this Saturday (November 30).
In the coming weeks there will be festive films, live music and Christmas wreath-making. This weekend the medieval building in Leicester city centre hosts its annual Christmas Craft Fair, offering shoppers the chance to buy unique handmade gifts and locally-made arts and crafts.
A roaring fire, drinks from the Daisy Moon Bar, and a Christmas tree in the courtyard will add to the festive atmosphere. Admission to the Christmas Craft Fair is £1 for adults, free for children, and doors open at 11am.
