Pierre serves as the Chief Business Officer of DFINITY, the largest research and development organization in Web3 and a prominent contributor to the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). Pierre is responsible for the strategy, products, and ventures of DFINITY, as well as business-related activities.
Pierre was a Partner at Roland Berger, an international strategy consulting firm, where he founded and led the firm’s global Digital Asset and Web3 practice. In this capacity, he provided guidance to governments, enterprises, and digital asset and Web3 companies on strategy formulation, organizational improvements, venture building, and investments in the field. Prior to joining DFINITY, he was a Partner at Roland Berger.

Pierre is additionally involved in global think tanks, including The Green Block and the Crypto Impact and Sustainability Accelerator of the World Economic Forum. He consistently publishes thought leadership articles on a wide range of subjects, such as the intersection of AI and digital assets, the tokenization of real-world assets, specialized Web3 due diligence frameworks, and the first-ever Bitcoin Mining Risk Management Framework.
In addition, Pierre is a board advisor at Wisdomise, a UAE/Swiss venture that applies artificial intelligence (AI) and digital assets to democratize wealth management.
Pierre previously served in many different kinds of executive positions, including Managing Partner & CEO of RWE Consulting and Venture Investments in the Middle East, a division of the European energy behemoth RWE, prior to joining Roland Berger. In addition to his extensive experience in the power sector, he has held multiple executive positions and board positions in AI and crypto businesses located in the United Kingdom.
Pierre has a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and an MBA in General Management. He has also obtained executive credentials from internationally recognized institutions, including MIT Sloan, Wharton, London Business School (LBS), and INSEAD, where he has focused on AI, Machine Learning, Digital Assets, and Digital Transformation.
