PITTSBURG, Kan. (KOAM) – The City of Pittsburg will host its annual Community Tree-Lighting Ceremony on Small Business Saturday, November 30, at 6:30 p.m. at Pritchett Pavilion, Downtown Pittsburg.
This free, family-friendly event features performances by St. Mary’s Colgan Elementary Choir, BTC Athletics & Dance, and Pittsburg Hispanic Banda, with Dowe Quick as emcee.
Enjoy treats from the Nutty Bavarian, TOAST, and Ron’s Supermarket, offering free hot cocoa, cookies, and milk.
After the tree-lighting countdown, Santa Claus will hand out candy canes and pose for photos.
The 20-foot tree and festive decorations will stay up all season, with the star dedicated to Nancy G. Miller’s memory.
