Storm has signed a seven-book deal with Australian author Fiona McIntosh to publish her books in the UK and the US. Deputy managing director Claire Bord acquired world English-language rights (excluding Australia and New Zealand) for the seven novels from Lisa Highton at Jenny Brown Associates.
The acquired titles are The Orphans, The Spy’s Wife, The Pearl Thief, The Chocolate Tin, The Fallen Woman, The Champagne War and The Soldier’s Dram.
McIntosh has already published 40 books, including 17 historical novels, six crime novels, 12 adult fantasy novels and several children’s books and her novels have been translated into over a dozen languages. Her fiction books were published by Penguin Books Australia.
She also runs masterclasses in Australia and the UK, sharing her expertise with aspiring authors.
McIntosh said: “I’m excited to be joining Storm, which is at the forefront of digital publishing. The novels will be released from March 2025 onwards.
