Political Scientist, Dr Shane Mohammed, says National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds’ decision to withdraw his consent to be nominated as the candidate for Laventille West at PNM’s screening on Monday is not something that typically happens overnight.
He suggests such decisions are usually influenced by higher authorities.
Dr Mohammed also shared his views on the other potential candidates, on today’s edition of CNC3’s The Morning Brew.
