Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, has been selected as the Caribbean’s Leading Business Travel Destination for 2024 at the World Travel Awards™.
In an update via its website, the organisation said Port of Spain beat fierce competition from Georgetown, Cayman Islands, Hamilton, Bermuda, Kingston, Jamaica, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Port of Spain was the site of several international business events in 2024, including the 33rd Anual CWWA Conference and Exhibition and the CAPA Airline Leader Summit 2024.
The CANSO Latin America and Caribbean Conference 2024 is also scheduled to be held in Port of Spain from December 2-4, 2024.
