MAGA pundit Steve Bannon on Sunday posed the idea to the Young Republican Club that President Joe Biden and his administration might be behind the spate of drones reportedly spotted over the last several weeks flying over New Jersey, as part of a plan to “work against” the United States and president-elect Donald Trump.
Bannon was the keynote speaker on Sunday at the New York Young Republican Club’s 112th 112th Annual Gala. He took the stage after 11 at night, following speeches from fellow Trump loyalists including Raheem Kassam, Nigel Farage, Corey Lewandowski, Dan Scavino, and newly elected congressman from Texas, Brandon Gill.
Bannon opened his remarks by congratulating the club for Trump’s gains in the city and state in the 2024 election. He elicited a roar of agreement from the crowd when claiming Trump won the 2020 election and therefore has been the real president all along, and eventually moved into criticism of Democrats and the current administration.
At one point Bannon address his commentary directly to “the Biden regime,” which he said “every day is working against the country and against President Trump.”
He then began to list ways in which he said they are doing so, including with Ukraine and Syria policy, before adding, “and hey, I don’t know. Are they the guys who got the drones over New Jersey?”
He continued his list of ways the “Biden regime” is “working against” America by bringing up immigration policy, the fed, and reactions to Trump nominees like former congressman Matt Gaetz.
The issue of the drones came up a great deal on Sunday, with former Republican Adam Kinzinger claiming that all the drones in the videos from the New Jersey skies merely show airplanes, and Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer demanding action.
I do want to say one thing to the Biden regime. The Biden regime every day is working against the country and President Trump. They’re exacerbating the problems in Ukraine. They’re exacerbating the problems in Syria, in the Middle East. They’re exacerbating the problems with the Chinese Communist Party. They’re, they’ve shipped all our ammo out. And hey, I don’t know, are they the guys who got the drones over New Jersey?
