FLORENCE S.C. (WPDE) — Florence Carpet and Tile on Pamplico Highway in Florence has closed after decades in business.
A community member said she’s done business with the company for more than years and hated to see it close for good.

A sign on the front door of the business reads:
The store is closed for new business. We are still working on pending jobs and orders. Please call 843-669-1851 with questions about your pending job or order.
It’s not clear at this time if the company’s old building has been purchased or if it will remain vacant for the time being.
