GREGG Wallace has revealed he’s launching a new money-spinning business despite his abrupt exit from MasterChef.
The under-fire TV presenter last month agreed to step away from the BBC cooking competition as historical allegations against him are investigated.
MasterChef’s production firm Banijay UK launched the probe last month after several women complained the TV judge had groped or harassed them.
Despite strongly denying any wrongdoing Gregg, 60, is said to have resigned himself to getting the sack – as we revealed previously.
But before the controversy, Gregg was already working on a new business venture.
Writing in his blog prior to the investigation, he told fans how he was launching new range of ready meals.

He wrote: “It was another busy week in London filming the new series of MasterChef. On your televisions at the moment, you’ve got the wonderful Professional MasterChef. And what incredible talent on display this year.
“It really is such an honour to watch the next generation of talented chefs coming through.
“I have been working for quite a while now on frozen ready meals from the GreggWallace.health range of recipes. These will be available to members only at the start.
“Let’s see how we get on. I have managed to have some time at home and did some cooking.
“It’s a habit I want to get back in to – cooking for the family once a week is something that I really enjoy.”
Dad-of-three Gregg’s health company already offers diet plans and coaching for its customers looking to lose weight.
On Wednesday the BBC announced food critic Grace Dent would take over from Wallace on Celebrity MasterChef.
Grace, 51, said: “I’ve been watching MasterChef since I was a girl sitting with my dad on the sofa. My whole family watches it.
“It’s all about uncovering and championing talent – and to have ended up in this position, is more than a dream to me.
“I’m so excited that I can’t eat, which is severely detrimental to a restaurant critic.
“I feel very lucky to be stepping in for the next Celebrity MasterChef.
“I can’t wait to meet the fresh celebrity faces for 2025.”
Gregg Wallace – MasterChef scandal in Brief
GREGG Wallace has stepped down from his MasterChef hosting role after a probe into alleged inappropriate behaviour. But what’s the situation?
Regular MasterChef host Gregg Wallace is currently the subject of a probe after an investigation was launched into his alleged misconduct over a number of years.
Gregg has been accused of making sexual remarks to 13 colleagues including Beeb anchor Kirsty Wark – accusations he denies.
The 60-year-old has now stepped away from the BBC show while historical misconduct allegations against him are investigated.
Yet the former greengrocer spoke out on social media to blast the “women of a certain age” who he claimed were behind the allegations.
The cooking show’s production company, Banijay UK, has said law firm Lewis Silkin would lead the investigation into Wallace’s alleged misconduct.
