A dedicated streaming platform for horror and thriller fans has unveiled a host of exciting new releases that will be available to subscribers in the New Year.
Shudder boasts a packed library of films and TV series for those that enjoy a shot of adrenaline with their popcorn. Among the offerings currently available on the platform is the top-rated horror, Late Night With The Devil, which pop icon Ariana Grande recently named as one of her favourite horror films of 2024.
The film follows a late-night talk show host who takes drastic measures to boost his ratings by inviting on a young girl who claims to be possessed by a demonic entity named ‘Mr Wriggles’. It currently boasts a 97 per cent critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, with fans calling it “one-of-a-kind” as well as “fun, fast-paced and fantastically performed.”
Shudder is a standalone streaming service which is currently available in the UK for £4.99 per month, with a seven day free trial offered to new customers. You can also subscribe to Shudder via Amazon Prime Video, though it is not included in the price of an Amazon Prime subscription and you will need a Prime subscription first.
Shudder has now revealed the films that will land in the laps of horror and thriller fans in January 2025, including some original offerings.
