Calaca Mayor Nas Ona happily welcomed the the city’s new corporate citizen, Monde Nissin.
Ona hailed Monde Nissin’s decision to invest in his city.
He said this underscores the trust it has placed in the local government, and shows that it has a good business environment.
Monde Nissin is the company behind well-known brands such as Lucky Me, Sky Flakes, M.Y.San FITA at Grahams, Monde, Nissin, Quorn, Cauldron and more.
Ona assured the company that the city government prioritizes support for businesses that provide jobs to residents and support sustainability, inclusivity, and helping the community.
“At kitang-kita namin na ang MONDE NISSIN ay tumutugma sa mga pagpapahalagang ito,” he added.
According to him, Monde Nissin has committed to hire employees who are between the ages of 35 to 50 and to support the LGBTQ+ community.
It will also provide jobs not just to Calaca residents, but to people from the district.
Moreover, it has promised to be environment-friendly and to support green initiatives of Calaca.
It likewise vowed to pay local taxes.
“Magkasama, binubuo natin ang isang lungsod na puno ng oportunidad at tumutugon sa pangangalaga sa kalikasan. Maligayang pagdating at dasal namin ang tagumpay at magandang kinabukasan nating lahat!” Ona said.
