Jessica Alba shared a passionate kiss with her co-star Lorenzo de Moor during a scene for their upcoming movie Maserati: The Brothers in Rome this week.
Lorenzo plays Carlo Maserati, the eldest of the six Maserati brothers who become involved in the new automobile industry at the dawn of the 20th century.
Although Carlo died in 1910, four years before his surviving brothers founded the luxury car brand that bears their name, the movie apparently covers his life as well.
Meanwhile Jessica plays a character called Sandra – evidently a love interest for Carlo, based on the steamy sequence they were seen filming in Italy on Thursday.
The 30-year-old actor could be seen sweeping the 43-year-old actress into his arms and locking lips with her as she wrapped him in an embrace.
During their romantic interlude, the characters were also seen leaning against an outdoor wall and grinning, with Sandra clutching Carlo’s right arm.
Both Jessica and Lorenzo were in period costumes designed to transport viewers back to the turn-of-the-century setting of the scene.
She sported a luxurious retro hairdo and was decked out in a floor-length cream dress and a matching jacket, worn over a white ruffled blouse.
Meanwhile Lorenzo was seen wearing a grey vest over a white tunic, occasionally bundling a long black coat over the ensemble.
One of the movie’s leading men is Michele Morrone, the Netflix sex symbol of the 365 Days erotic thriller franchise, playing Alfieri Maserati, one of the brothers.
Bindo, another Maserati brother, is played by Salvatore Esposito, who starred on the hit Italian crime show Gomorrah and also featured on the US series Fargo.
They join an international cast that includes Anthony Hopkins from the UK and Andy Garcia from the US.
Directed by Robert Moresco, who co-wrote the Oscar-winning 2004 film Crash, Maserati: The Brothers began principal photography in Italy on December 2.
Lorenzo, who was born in the Netherlands and raised in Italy, has acted in both countries and also has a slate of English language projects lined up.
One of Lorenzo’s upcoming projects is the sequel to A Simple Favor, the hit 2018 thriller starring Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick and Henry Golding.
He has also been cast in the upcoming British TV series Iris, starring Tom Hollander and acclaimed Irish actress Niamh Algar as well as Debi Mazar.
In her offscreen love life, Jessica is happily married to Cash Warren, 45, with whom she shares her daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, six.
Cash, who is the son of Hill Street Blues actor Michael Warren, met Jessica while working as an assistant director on her critically savaged 2005 film Fantastic Four.
They spontaneously decided to get married at a Beverly Hills courthouse one day in 2008 while Jessica was heavily pregnant with Honor.
