The 2-minute, 19-second promo shows the caped Kryptonian crashing to earth — but as an adult — and getting an assist from canine companion Krypto.
Viewers see longtime nemesis Lex Luther and other DC superheroes, including Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific and Green Lantern Guy Gardner.
James Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “The Suicide Squad”) is the writer and director of the Superman movie series reboot, which is produced by DC Studios and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Superman flavor is Michigan’s favorite ice cream
The state’s favorite flavor of the sweet summer treat is Superman, according to a WorkWise software poll published in May 2019.
Superman ice cream, as Michiganders know, consists of red, blue and yellow ice cream swirled together. It’s an homage of sorts to the famous superhero who wears those three colors on his suit.
Stroh’s Ice Cream, a Detroit ice cream company that closed in 2007, is widely credited with inventing the funky flavor. Their version of Superman was made with blue moon, red pop and lemon flavors.
