Tourists are facing difficulties with the country’s bus card system, as they are unable to apply for the necessary bus cards needed to travel on public buses.
This issue was highlighted by a popular YouTuber, who has nearly 190,000 followers, during a recent visit to Fiji from Sydney.
In a vlog documenting his trip, the YouTuber shared his experience of being unable to ride the bus in the Samabula area because of not having a bus card.
As a result, he had to walk from his hotel to Suva.
“The buses are a mad vibe. I want to ride one but I need a card to ride one,” the YouTuber said.
“The process to get a card is hard.”
