Emerald Island Casino and Rainbow Club Casino General Manager Tim Brooks was honored as one of Nevada Business Magazine’s Most Respected Leaders during a ceremony at Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada on December 4.
Brooks’ career in the hospitality, dining and gaming industry has spanned more than three decades, and he has been operating Emerald Island Casino and Rainbow Club Casino for over 20 years. He serves on several boards throughout southern Nevada and was previously named City of Henderson Economic Development Private Sector “Person of the Year” in 2010 and served as chairman of the City of Henderson Special Budget Ad Hoc Committee in 2013. He has lived in Henderson since 1998.
“This has been an incredible honor, one that I cannot just claim for myself as everything I do involves my amazing team,” said Brooks. “What has worked for me is to surround myself with talented individuals who I truly enjoy working with, and treat them with respect and compassion, which in turn allows them to flourish and be the best they can be.”
Brooks attended both El Camino College and the University of Southern California. When Brooks isn’t improving Henderson’s economic contributions through gaming, he enjoys watching the Los Angeles Dodgers and Vegas Golden Knights win. In his spare time, Brooks is also a family man, spending as much time as he can with his wife, adult children, and grandchildren.
