TEXARKANA, Texas – Downtown Texarkana was treated to Christmas on Main on Saturday, ushering in fun, music, movies and shopping from 10 a.m. through 7 p.m.
The Perot Theatre hosted the event, offering an ice-skating rink, vendor food and drinks, unique buying opportunities, and movies.
First up was the movie Frozen, and afterward, attendants could join Elsa and Anna at a tea party.
Following Frozen was the Rise of the Guardians and the final was a Christmas classic, White Christmas.
Adding to the activities were crafts, carriage rides, live music and Santa appearing for the youngsters.
Based on the number of vendors, the event was a last-minute Christmas shoppers’ dream.
Vendor Adam Wickless with 870 Laser Crafts said his items can be very personalized.
“For ornaments, we actually laser cut out whatever kind of shape you want to do and sublimate print on top of that,” said Wickless. “So we can do graphics, photos, images of anything pretty much. Add text to them, graphics, photos, logos.”
