UI Movie, which hit the screens on December 20, has opened to a terrific response at the box office. The film has, however, received mixed reviews with critics praising the performances but hitting out at the screenplay. Amid this, the Upendra-led film has fallen prey to piracy.

UI, starring Upendra, hit the screens on December 20 and became the talk of the town with its intriguing premise. However, in an unfortunate development, it also fell prey to piracy shortly after its release.
According to reports, UI is available to download for free on torrent platforms (piracy websites) such as Filmyzilla, Movierulz, and Tamilrockerz in 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p, 240p, and HD versions. Viduthalai Part 2, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori, too was hit by piracy after it hit the screens yesterday. Piracy is a big problem for the film industry. It has the potential to affect the box office revenue of the films in question.
About UI
UI is a psychological thriller that revolves around the confrontation between a king and a man with remarkable abilities, who brainwashes the public and goes on to become a dictator. It is directed by Upendra, who also plays the lead role in his magnum opus. Murali Sharma, Reshma Nanaiah, Jisshu, and Sadhu Kokila essay key roles in UI. Its budget is said to be around Rs 100 crore. This is the maverick filmmaker-actor’s first release after Kabzaa (2023), which did not do well at the box office. He will next be seen in Coolie. The Tamil actioner is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and features Rajinikanth in the lead.
