SK Telecom (SKT) plans to unveil its differentiated artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and services from January 7 to 10 at CES 2025, the world’s largest IT and consumer electronics exhibition, taking place in Las Vegas, USA.
On the 23rd, SKT announced that it will operate a joint exhibition space themed “Innovative AI, Sustainable Tomorrow” in collaboration with several SK Group affiliates, including SK hynix, SKC, and SK enmove.
The exhibition will take place in the Central Hall, covering an area of approximately 1,950 square meters (about 590 pyeong), showcasing SK’s AI data center technologies, various AI services, and participation from several partner companies.
The SK Group exhibition has garnered significant attention, having been selected as a “must-see exhibit of 2024” by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of CES, and as the “Best of CES 2024” by the global exhibition magazine, Exhibitor.
At the heart of the exhibition will be the AI data center. SKT will emphasize its strategy for a nationwide “AI Infrastructure Super Highway,” based on the AI data center, GPU cloud services, and Edge AI technologies presented at last month’s SK AI Summit.
In the center of the exhibition space, a 6-meter tall LED pillar will demonstrate the dynamic data flow of the SK AI data center, around which various AI data center solutions and energy technologies owned by the SK Group will be showcased. This is expected to attract significant interest from visitors.
Additionally, SKT plans to introduce its global AI agent “Aster,” aimed at the North American market, along with various AI-based security technologies including “ScamVanguard.” AI-related partners will also participate in the exhibition, highlighting their close collaboration with SK.
“We are excited to showcase a variety of SK Group’s AI technologies and services to the world at CES,” said Park Kyu-hyun, head of SKT’s Digital Communication Division. “Through this exhibition, we aim to widely promote SK Telecom’s AI capabilities and look forward to our leap as a global AI company.”
