Girish Kumar is the son of filmmaker Kumar S. Taurani and the nephew of Ramesh S. Taurani, the founder of Tips Industries. Girish joined Bollywood in 2013 but transitioned to the family business after his brief stint in films. Today, as the COO of Tips Industries, he plays a pivotal role in its operations. As of December 2024, the company has a market capitalization of Rs 10,517 crore.
Kumar’s stake in the family business has significantly contributed to his wealth, making him one of the most successful individuals in his peer group. According to Trendline, his net worth is estimated to be around Rs 2,164 crore.
On the personal front, Girish Kumar is married to his childhood sweetheart, Krishna, and the couple has a child. They live in Mumbai, where Girish also serves as a promoter and executive with Tips Music.
