Identity trailer review
The 2.40-minute-long trailer of Identity suggests that Tovino Thomas and Trisha Krishnan’s film is a unique investigation thriller, that revolves around a sketch artist Haran Shankar, and Alisha, a woman with photographic memory, who becomes the prime eye witness on an investigation, led by police officer Allen and his team. Tovino Thomas and Trisha Krishnan play Haran Shankar and Alisha, respectively in the film, which stars popular actor Vinay Rai as Allen.

However, the Identity trailer raises above a routine investigation thriller with its sleek representation, and high-octane action set pieces. The hints of Tovino Thomas’ character Haran’s back story did remind us of some of the most famous investigations produced by Malayalam cinema. However, Trisha Krishnan’s character brings the much-needed suspense quotient, as the trailer hardly reveals anything about who Alisha actually is. Just like Forensic, director duo Akhil Paul and Anas Khan are planning to shed light on sketch artists and their role on investigations, with the film.

The Identity trailer takes a different turn after Mandira Bedi enters the premise. The popular Bollywood actress is playing the role of Supriya, who seemingly appears as a sharpshooter, in the film. Later, the viewers are introduced to some high-octane action sequences, which suggest that Akhil Paul-Anas Khan’s film is much more than a routine investigation film.
Archana Kavi is seen making an appearance in the Identity trailer, supposedly in the role of Haran’s wife. The promising star cast and excellent technical aspects, especially the stunning visuals, action choreography, and background score suggest that Identity is going to be a perfect theatrical experience.
