On Friday, Telugu cinema opened its big account for 2025, with the release of Game Changer, the Ram Charan film which hit theatres for the occasion of Sankranthi. Directed by Shankar, the film released in multiple languages. On the first day, Game Changer collected Rs 51.25 crore including all languages in India. Game Changer is expected to see a surge in collection, given the weekend is here, and the festive season is on.

Ram Charan collaborated with director Shankar for the first time with Game Changer, which is a pollical action thriller starring the actor in dual roles. The film opened to mixed response upon its release on Friday. However, given how big the project is, Game Changer has managed to collect Rs 51.25 crore in all languages, as per Sacnilk report.
As per the language wise break up, the film’s majority of shares come from Telugu with Rs 42 crore, followed by Hindi with Rs 7 crore, Tamil with Rs 2.1 crore, Kannada with Rs 0.1 crore and Malayalam with 0.05 crore. With Sankranthi celebrated big in Telugu-speaking states and south, Game Changer is expected to see more audience during the weekend.

Game Changer is produced by Dil Raju, and also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead, marking her reunion with Ram Charan after Vinaya Vidheya Rama. However, the film is expected to face competition with Daaku Maharaaj starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam which will release on January 12 and 14 respectively.
Game Changer also stars Anjali, SJ Suryah, Samuthirakani, and others. The music is composed by Thaman S, with cinematography by Tirru. The song Naa Naa Hyraanaa has been edited out from Game Changer and will be added from January 14 onwards due to technical issues.
