Alabama Power plant named business of month

The Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce announced Monday that the Alabama Power’s plant in Greene County is the chamber’s Business of the Month.

DACC executive director Monica King said this facility plays a crucial role in providing reliable energy to Alabama and Mississippi, serving both local communities and the wider region. Plant Greene County is part of Alabama Power’s commitment to delivering sustainable energy solutions, while supporting local economic growth and community development.

“We applaud the leadership and dedication of the team at the Alabama Power’s Plant Greene County for their continued excellence in energy production and their contributions to the Chamber as well as our community,” King said. “Please join us in congratulating them.”
