Business Buzz: MSUM student-run ad agency seeks clients

MOORHEAD — MSUM Flypaper Creative Services, a student-run advertising and public relations agency, is seeking clients for spring semester.

Clients will work with students and their instructor to fulfill communication needs, whether it is the creation of an awareness campaign to search engine optimization to planning a special event. Each client will pay a flat fee of $300/semester and in return will receive a dedicated team of students focused on your project.

MSUM’s Flypaper Creative Services offers a variety services, including media relations, identity and branding, strategic planning, integrated marketing campaigns, social media campaigns, and more.

MSUM Flypaper Creative Services is located at the Minnesota State University Moorhead School of Communication and Journalism. The goal of the agency is to provide students with real-life opportunities to gain professional experience prior to graduation.

FARGO — StartupBREW will be held in a new location when the weekly networking event resumes Jan. 27.

StartupBREW will now be held at the Prairie Den in downtown Fargo’s Black Building at 118 Broadway N. Suite S1.

Coffee Club, a time for entrepreneurs and stakeholders to connect, will be held from 8 to 8:30 a.m., followed by a program from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
