Both, Fateh and Game Changer dropped on Saturday, but Sonu Sood-starrer witnessed a minor drop, unlike Ram Charan’s film which suffered a huge fall.
Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez in Fateh
Fateh box office collection: Sonu Sood’s actioner, Fateh, which is also his directorial debut started on a slow note, and suffered a minor drop on the second day. As per Sacnilk, the movie was released on January 10 and it earned Rs 2.40 crore only. The trade portal revealed the Saturday figures, and sadly, the film showed a minor drop in the collection.
On its second day, the film earned Rs 2 crore only, taking the total of Rs 4.40 crore. The box office performance of the film is low, but the film is expected to jump on Sunday. Going with the trend, the movie is expected to earn Rs 7-8 crores in its first weekend.
Though Fateh suffered a drop, it has still performed better than Game Changer, and we will explain to you how. Shankar and Ram Charan’s Game Changer minted Rs 51 crores in India on day one, but the movie suffered a major drop of over 57% by earning Rs 21.50 crores on Saturday. As compared to Game Changer, Fateh suffered a minor drop, and since the budget of Sonu Sood-starrer is limited, the movie is expected to sail through with theatrical and non-theatrical revenue.
Game Changer, on the other hand, is an expensive film, shot on a reported budget of Rs 400 crores, and the movie has to maintain a strong grip at the box office for a minimum two weeks to break even.
