Community Foundation changes its name
The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado announced a new name and refreshed look for the organization, formally adopting its nickname, NoCo Foundation.
According to a new release, the name change comes after informal research in 2023 indicated the former name was too long, and its look and feel were not overly memorable.
NoCo Foundation also is planning to celebrate its 50th anniversary from May to November 2025.
The refreshed logo and its font are meant to symbolize its evolving personality and position in the market as a Dynamic, approachable, innovative, community-oriented, and high-customer service organization. “And it includes our tagline, Community is our Business; as a local, public foundation, we did not want to lose that important word from the previous logo,” the release stated.
The organization also is in the process of refreshing its website, nocofoundation.org.
Schroeder Roofing to contribute to local nonprofits
Schroeder Roofing has committed to donating $200 for every roofing project scheduled between now and March 31, as a part of its ‘Every Roof Counts’ campaign.
According to a news release, customers participating in the campaign will have the opportunity to direct their donation to one of several local organizations, including Loveland Lions Club, Rotary Club of Fort Collins, Meals On Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud, Greeley Family House, United Way Weld County, and HOPE for Longmont.
The contributions will help provide critical resources such as meals, housing, and emergency assistance to individuals and families in need.
“With more than 40 years in business serving Northern Colorado, we are always looking for great ways to give back to the place we call home,” Wesley Hill, owner of Schroeder Roofing, said in the release. “Every Roof Counts allows us to support the work of local organizations that are at the heart of our community. By partnering with our neighbors, we can strengthen essential services and create a lasting impact for those in need.”
The campaign applies to roofing projects, including new roof installations, re-roofs, and roof repairs valued at $9,000 or more. All projects must be scheduled by March 31 and completed by August 2025.
