Virgin Australia is kicking off the new year with a network-wide sale, offering over 800,000 cheap flights from as low as $49.
The sale, spanning across the airline’s domestic and international routes, also has international business class fares from $1000.
Aussie hotspots such as Gold Coast, Whitsundays and Hamilton Island and international destinations including Bali, Queenstown and Fiji are all included in the sale that lasts for the next eight days.

One-way domestic economy fares are the cheapest with flights from Sydney to Ballina (Byron Bay) down to $49, while flights from Melbourne to Launceston start at $59.
Keen travellers can also book flights from Melbourne or Sydney to Queenstown, New Zealand from $405 and $435 respectively.

Return flights in economy from the Gold Coast to Denpasar (Bali) are down to $499, while a trip from Sydney to Nadi (Fiji) is on sale from $589.
If you’ve wanted to experience business class on an international flight this sale also provides a perfect opportunity.
Virgin has international business class fares on sale from $1050 (Brisbane to Vanuatu).
Flights to Queenstown are also available in business class from both Sydney and Melbourne from $1300.
If a tropical escape to Fiji or Samoa is what you’re after, business class flights are down to $1899 and $1599 respectively.
Cheap flights apply to select travel dates between 14 January 2025 and 30 November 2025.
