It’s considered to be a cult classic – but alike many movies, it has mistakes that leave the audience scratching their heads.
TikTok users Movie Messups has pointed out a mistake in a scene in Twilight, starring Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen.
In the 2008 movie, Bella is seen driving to high school in a red truck – but when she parks up around her new classmates, strange things occur. But it isn’t a vampire jumping to her rescue, it’s instead a movie extra switching outfits mid-scene.
The TikTok user said: “There are at least two mistakes that I saw. You can see a boom mic and the camera reflected in the glass [car window screen]. The other, you can see he [an extra] is wearing a vest over his hoodie. But wait for it, not anymore.”
While some users couldn’t help but laugh at the mistake, others say there’s many others throughout the movie series. One user said: “The hospital scene kills me. Her oxygen tubes on her face kept moving around to different spots each shot.”
Another user added: “Ok but the thing that still bugs me the most is that she leaves the truck window down in one of the rainiest areas of the US.” A third user said: “OMG! I call them discoveries! I’ve been noticing stuff all my life, so happy to have found other people that get excited about this!”
One more user added: “I always see mistakes in movie/shows.” Another user said: “She leaves the window down, but at the end of the day when she gets in her car the window is rolled up.”
It comes after another TikTok user pointed out a movie mistake in the Christmas film The Grinch, saying: “Every time I watch the Grinch, I notice this one little mistake they made where they either forgot to put his contacts in or they forgot to edit them in afterwards, and so Jim Carrey’s brown eyes are just there. In the next scene, they’re back to that [green].”
Commenting on this, one user said: “You ruined it for me.” Another user added: “I just screamed. I’ve never seen this.” A third user said: “I freaking love little details like this.” One more user added: “Why is that scary.”
Another user said: “I’ve watched the Grinch so many times and never noticed this.” Meanwhile other users shared trivia about how Jim Carrey supposedly had issues with his contacts during production as they caused him great discomfort.
