A man in his 60s who was found dead inside a vehicle at a business park has been named.
An inquest has been opened into the death of 66-year-old Glen Manders after a body was found at Helston Business Park in Cornwall in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, December 18. Police discovered the body while conducting enquiries in the area following a report of concern for welfare.
The man, from Somerset, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two women – aged in their 50s and 80s from south Somerset – were arrested on suspicion of murder, concealing a death and preventing a lawful burial.

They were released on bail in the days following the arrest. Devon and Cornwall Police said at the time it is believed the victim and suspects were known to each other.
On Wednesday, January 8, an inquest was opened into the death of Mr Manders, whose location of death is given as Helston, Cornwall. His day of death is given at December 18, 2024.
After the body was found, Devon and Cornwall Police said those involved are known to each other and there was no wider risk to the community. Detective Inspector Neil Blanchard said: “Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.”

Blanchard added: “At this time we are treating the man’s death as suspicious. We understand that any incident this serious in nature, will cause concern amongst the community.
“It is believed that the involved parties are known to each other and there is no wider risk to the public. You can expect to see an increased presence around the business park while our investigation continues.”
