The Batangas provincial government sought to encourage students in the province to read by providing them with astorybook.
Batangas Gov. Dodo Mandanas joined the activity, led by the Provincial School Board.
Elementary school students were given copies of the book “365 stories.”
It contains different stories as well as colorful illustrations. With this book, readers can enjoy one story per day for the whole year.
The books were distributed to schools in Bauan, San Luis, San Pascual, Alitagtag, Sta. Teresita, Mabini, and Tingloy.
By encouraging students to read, the Provincial School Board seeks to ensure the improvement of education in Batangas.
Mandanas, during the event, also expressed his gratitude to teachers who serve as second parents of the students and who hone their skills.
