Vernon Kay couldn’t hide his excitement when he saw Timothée Chalamet rock up to his film premiere on a rented Lime bike on Tuesday.
The French-American actor, 28, attracted a whole host of stars to the screening in London for the unveiling of A Complete Unknown, in which Timothée plays legendary singer, Bob Dylan,.
While most A-listers prefer to saunter down the red carpet, making sure all eyes are on them, the actor, who is dating Kylie Jenner, jumped on a bike for the occasion, leaving presenter, Vernon, in stitches.
Taking a snap of the star, sporting a sharp navy suit on the bright green bicycle – which can be hired in the capital by the hour – the dad-of-two, 50, laughed out loud before making his way into the premiere. Vernon also cut a dapper figure for the event, sporting a brown suede jacket, black slacks and trainers.

Timothée, who stars as the Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door hitmaker, 83, both sings and plays the songs live in the drama which is set for release in January.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, he admitted to not knowing much about Bob before, but is now ‘deeply passionate’ about his cultural impact.
Timothée said: “I had a lot of time to practice because we were meant to make the film five and half years ago, then there was Covid and then there was the actors’ strike, so I have years to prepare. I was confident about singing and by the time we got to do the film I wanted to sing and play the songs live.’
He added: “I didn’t know much about Dylan but now, having worked on it for so long, I really worship at the church of Bob. I am deeply passionate about this man and his work. My friends are tired of hearing me talk about him ad nauseam.”
The Hollywood A-lister is now one of the most in-demand actors and has had his profile raised further by dating ‘billionaire baby’, Kylie Jenner.
While The Kardashians star didn’t attend the premiere in London, she did accompany Timothée to the Golden Globes earlier this month and looked very loved-up in snaps taken from the star-studded night.
The mum-of-two was seen giving the Dune star a kiss as they took in the awards event, with Timothee sweetly resting his hand on her back. It’s the second year they’ve been spotted at the annual do showing affection to one another, with the ubiquitous pregnancy rumours continuing to swirl.
The rumours have been consistent for a number of months now with fans often debating the online. In April last year sources close to the star were forced to deny rumours – but the speculation is continuing. Last week eagle-eyed fans took to social media following a clip Kylie shared over the festive period.
In it, she appeared in a video with her eldest child Stormi. Kylie could be seen actively trying to hide her stomach with a huge shopping bag. The mum could be seen actively pressing the bag to her every time it slipped. “She’s so pregnant,” replied one fan. However, there has no been no confirmation of a third baby for the make-up mogul from either Kylie or Timothee’s camp.
