IMDb India released its list of the 20 most anticipated Indian films of 2025 on Wednesday, January 15. These films, which are set for release in 2025, were the most popular among IMDb users, based on actual page views from over 250 million monthly visitors worldwide.
At the top of the list is Sikandar, starring Salman Khan. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi in key roles. Sikandar is scheduled for release during Eid 2025. AR Murugadoss expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am truly humbled to see Sikandar top the IMDb Most Anticipated Indian Movies of 2025 list. Working with Salman Khan has been an amazing experience. His energy and commitment have brought Sikandar to life in ways that words can’t describe. A big thank you to Sajid Nadiadwala for making this film happen. Following Sikandar, the second and third spots on the list are occupied by Toxic, starring Yash, and Coolie, featuring Rajinikanth. In fourth place is Housefull 5, a multi-starrer comedy with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Sonam Bajwa, Chunky Panday, and Nana Patekar. Baaghi 4, starring Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, rounds out the top five.
