SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The South Dakota Ag Expo kicked off Wednesday at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
The annual event attracts over 1,300 attendees from the agribusiness industry to network and grow their businesses. The event also features a trade show displaying the latest advancements in the world of agribusiness.
“What we’re displaying at the show are the ag spraying drones made by Hylio, they’re made in the United States out of Texas and they’re designed to spray crops and just about anything that you want to spray, they also allow you to spread seed and also granular fertilizer,” said Mark Quall, owner of Dakota Ag Solutions.
“We hope that people come here and they get the chance to view the new trends and technologies which are really moving fast with AI and all that and I hope that they’re able to come here and in one place gather that information and get a lot of ideas that they can take back to their businesses and make themselves better,” said Bart Banks, President of the South Dakota Agribusiness Association.
