WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A New York company confirmed this week that it’s acquired Wichita-based Integra Technologies, a company that is “an Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) post-processing provider focused on high-reliability applications and end markets.” In a news release, Micross Components, Inc. said acquiring Integra “further positions Micross as a leader in United States-based OSAT services and further broadens Micross’ portfolio of high-reliability microelectronic services and products.”
In early 2023, Integra announced plans to build and expand a 1-million-square-foot facility and headquarters in Wichita, creating nearly 2,000 jobs. Kansas Governor Laura Kelly said the tech company’s $1.8 billion private investment was the second largest in Kansas history.
