Pune, 18th January 2025: A grand book exhibition organized by Gayatri Chetna Kendra, Wagholi, is underway at Acharya Atre Sabhagruha, Bajirao Road, Pune. The event, which began on January 17 and will run until January 26, features over 1,500 books authored by Yug Rishi Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya. The exhibition is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, offering visitors an opportunity to explore literature on spirituality, personality development, family building, meditation, and ancient scriptures.
The inaugural ceremony on January 17 was graced by several prominent figures, including Dr. Medha Kulkarni, Member of Parliament and National Vice President of BJP Mahila Morcha, and Milind Ekbote, President of Akhil Bharatiya Gauseva Sangh. Other dignitaries included RSS senior volunteer Suhas Paralikar, Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust President Vinayak Ghate, and BJP social worker Sandeep (Nana) Kumbare.
In her speech, Dr. Kulkarni emphasised the transformative power of spirituality in daily life. Reflecting on her personal journey during the COVID-19 pandemic, she credited Gayatri Sadhana with providing her the strength for social upliftment. She lauded Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya for making Gayatri worship accessible to all, calling his contributions a significant spiritual milestone.
Milind Ekbote highlighted Acharya Ji’s monumental contribution of over 3,200 books, suggesting it is deserving of a Guinness World Record. He underscored the importance of integrating Indian cultural knowledge into school curricula, describing the Gayatri Mantra as the “soul of Indian culture.”
Other speakers, including Vaste Tai, shared personal anecdotes illustrating the life-changing impact of Gayatri Sadhana. She credited Gayatri Mantra meditation for her husband’s recovery from cancer when conventional treatments failed.
The exhibition offers a unique opportunity to delve into spiritual wisdom and self-improvement solutions provided by Yug Rishi’s literature. Visitors from all walks of life, including students, youth, and families, are encouraged to attend and explore this treasure trove of knowledge.
