To promote the tourism potential of Georgia, the national tourism administration is all set to attend MATKA 2025 in Helsinki. This international exhibition will be held at Finland with participation of many countries from across the globe.
The nation tourism administration while taking to their social media handles revealed its plan to attend the MATKA 2025. The representative said that this international tourism exhibition will give us an historic opportunity to showcase beautiful destinations to global attendees. This will ultimately help us to promote our tourism in coming years.
There will be many other agencies of Georgia associated with tourism industry who will participate in Georgia. There will be more than 10 companies of Georgia who will also participate in this event as well. Maia Omiadze, the head of natial tourims administrain will lead Georgia’s delegation on this occasson as well.
The head of Georgia tourism administration under framework of this international exhibition is holding many meeting with different stakeholders also. She also met with representatives of many Finland and European agencies for raise awareness about Georgian tourism potential in these countries.
Maia Omiadze while speaking to media houses said, “We with many official of other Georgian agencies has reached in Finland. We have met with many head of tourism and travel agencies of Finland and other European countries and will continue our meeting with other tourism sector stakeholders also.
On the other hand, Mekkim Frantti, a representative of the Association of Finnish Travel Agencies also expressed satsifacton about the outcome of the developments. She said,“ The both the coutries has great tourism potential. We will take every effort for the develoment of cooperatin among both countries which will be helpfull for both sides.“
It is also to be noted that at MATKA 2025, representatives of Georgian national tourism administraionn companies will hold negotiations with foreign colleagues. These meeting will be done on B2B format to deepen cooperation and enhance cooperation. The head of agency expected that this event will help in inrese tourist inflow in Georgia.
